Cassidy

I am a communications and rhetoric student at The University of Winnipeg who is working towards being a journalist. I have completed one year of Creative Communications at Red River College where I learned strong writing and editing skills. I took advanced English through high school, and am continuing with literature studies in university, so I am familiar with many literature texts and authors. I am a strong writer and cricitcal reader who is passionate about helping others.

Availability: Sunday: anytime
Monday: after 6 PM
Tuesday: after 3:30 PM
Wednesday: after 6 PM

I can take requests to tutor Thursday-Saturday, and will try to be available if those days work better students.

Experience: I have successfully completed grade 11 and 12 AP English in high school; I have completed a year of Creative Communications at Red River College, and I am currently studying English and language at The University of Winnipeg.

While I do not have direct teaching experience, I have tutored friends for English tests by helping them understand concepts in complex literature, and I constantly edit peers papers.

I am currently a server at the Tavern United, and have worked in the service industry for three years. These skills have helped me become a strong communicator and taught me how to relate to people of different ages and personalities.

I love English and literature and would love to help others appreciate our complex, but beautiful language.
