I am a highly motivated professional with 18 years of teaching experience. I have great rapport with students of all ages and levels and enjoy helping others learn, grow, and maximize their own potential. I am passionate about language instruction and have worked with many international students.

Experience: I am a professional violinist with the Okanagan and Kamloops Symphony Orchestras, and currently teach over 60 private students at the Kelowna Community Music School and Kamloops Symphony Music School. I also instruct large string orchestras, and was a classroom music teacher for 6 years at the elementary school level. I hold a B.A from the University of British Columbia (Major in English, Minor in Spanish) and have extensive background in English, Spanish, and Linguistics. I have beem the recipient of numerous awards at the post-secondary level for English. I am hoping to work 5-15 hours per week as a tutor as I need the flexibility to set my own hours, and hopefully work mainly online.
